Tonight at 11pm EST only on KJSR.net, you can tune in and compete in a highly interactive, challenging, yet entertaining trivia contest. I hope you will tune in and join in the trivia fun. All the details on tonight's competition can be found below!

Participation:
Participating is simple, in between songs throughout the entire show you will hear trivia questions you need to answer. As you hear each question, you will need to jump right to KJSR.net and use the two links that will appear below. The first link will take you to a submission form you will use throughout the entire evening to submit your answers. Simply fill out all the fields, hit submit, and your submission is instantly recorded. The second link will take you to a scoreboard where you can track you and your competitions' progress (scoreboard automatically updates every 5 minutes). It really is that simple: Just listen for the questions, hop to the submission link, submit your answer, and watch for the results.

Once the question goes live it will NOT be repeated again on air or in live chat. The question announcement will only air once in between songs; The one airing will however repeat the question twice for clarity. If you have a question or need clarification DJ-Dazz will be in Live Chat for assistance.

In order to ensure listeners are not using google, contestants will only have thirty seconds to submit their answer to the submission form. The thirty second submission period will begin once the question has ended airing on the live stream. All submission answers are timestamped and any late submissions will be deleted.

There are 11 questions total and each individual question is worth two points! All answers are very simplistic in nature and lengthy detailed answers need not apply. No partial credit will be given for answers. The contestant with the most points on the scoreboard at the end of the contest wins. In the event of a tie, all contestants will need to enter Live Chat and compete in a Tie Breaker Question. Any contestants who fail to enter Live Chat to compete in the tie breaking question will be automatically disqualified.

KJSR.net DJ's are not eligible to win the contest or prizes; they are allowed however to join and compete in the contest for fun if they wish.

Any players not acting in honest, goodwill, or considerable fashion will be ejected from the game. Let's have fun, play fair, and be considerate of all of our listeners. This contest is a no negativity zone and done for pure entertainment!

So... in case you missed my show Friday, I made a huge announcement about this upcoming Friday's show. You may or may not be aware but my next show marks my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY on KJSR.net! I would LOVE to celebrate it in style! So I have called upon anybody who has ever listened to do two things in order for this next show to be a HUGE success. 1.) The theme is: "On The Radio" so I would like everybody to request their favorite song they hear on the radio (yes, just one request this week). 2.) Bummer they can't be the famous 8-bit versions we are used to but I will be playing songs that my fellow MYXERS sent in that are their favorite current ringtones. As well, tonight I will playing a BUNCH of popular ringtones that the whole nation has blaring out of their cell phones at the most inappropriate times, because why would your phone ever ring in the middle of a noisy room right? HELLO HEROES! It's time to celebrate the arrival of the Summer Movie Blockbuster Season!!! Tonight's show is gonna be cinematic and hopefully explosive! Below are all the details for tonight's show:

"HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD"

Tonight's show is a theme I have wanted to do for some time and with the arrival of Memorial Weekend there is no perfect timing! Tonight we will showcase songs from Movies and their Soundtracks! I am a HUGE fan of Soundtracks and as of late really miss the good ole days when movies had amazing songs and soundtracks to back them up! So tonight's show is all about you requesting your favorite songs from Movies! Make sure to label the movie in the dedications so I know you know your movies!

This new round is already looking more competitive then ever! Last week I debuted a new segment on my show entitled "Word of the Week" and that new segment really helped a couple listeners get a new edge on the scoreboard! I hope more will tune in this week and e-mail me the word of the week. It's truly one of the only ways I know you are actually listening. Right now Cherry is in the lead by only one point so get tuned in and interact so that maybe you can win the time card! HELLO HEROES! I'm so EXCITED to be back after a short hiatus! I promise tonight's show is gonna be most MARVELOUS!!! Below are all the details for tonight's show:

"WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS"

Tonight's show is quite special! It's actually been a show that has been almost 5 months in the making! The show's theme was won by Mr. Budweiser during the Player Auction in January! When he won he wanted the show to be all about the most amazing server within City of Heroes, The Champion Server. So tonight's show is all about Champion; the people, the drama, the fun, the COMMUNITY! Due to the jam-packed potential of this show the request line will be CLOSED! I will only be playing songs and dedications as requested (via e-mail earlier this week) by players from Champion!

It's a new month which means a new scoreboard! The scoreboard has been reset after Peace Machina won the Marvelous Scoreboard for April! So now it's your guys' turn to win! HELLO LISTENERS!!! I wanted to take a moment to give you an update on my show. Due to some unforseen personal and work-related issues I have to postpone my show for another week. There's a lot of chaos going on and I need to focus my attention elsewhere. However... I will be BACK on the air on Friday, May 21st, 2010 at 11pm - 1am on KJSR.net! This date WILL be the "We Are The Champions" night! We will play both Dear Champion songs and then open the request line for listeners to request songs dedicated to the server and its people! HELLO MARVELOUS LISTENERS!!!

As you know, I used to host KJSR.net's The Countdown! I have since moved on to my own show but DJ Hawkeyed (Pinnacle PERC Rep / Dear Friend) has graciously taken over as host of The Countdown (airing Saturdays at 3pm EST on KJSR.net)! Well now he needs your help! As host of the Countdown he has decided to revamp it a little and split it into two segments one containing a listeners own Top 10 and the other being the KJSR Top 10! I think is a totally awesome idea and I have already submitted my own Top 10 which aired today! Now it's your turn! So all you have to do is e-mail your Top 10 list to DJ Hawkeyed (DJ-Hawkeyed@kjsr.net). In turn, it not only might air on The Countdown BUT any listener who sends in their top 10 will also get 10 POINTS on the Marvelous Scoreboard. The time is finally here! The debut of my brand-new show, The Marvelous Mix. I cannot tell you how excited I am to begin this new show and start taking all your Marvelous Requests. Since this is the debut edition of my show there will be a lot going on! Check out the details below:

For my debut show I have decided I will be playing all Dance Music! It is after all one of my favorite music genres, besides it's Friday Night and we need to start the weekend off right! This means no ballads and sleepy time music. I will play anything as long as you can dance to it, I'm afraid to say moshing would count but there are some Rock Songs you can definitely dance to.

One huge part of my show will be the utilization of the Marvelous Scoreboard! As you may or may not be aware, every month I will be giving out a FREE City of Heroes 30 Day Timecard! To win the timecard you must obviously tune into the show and interact with myself and my listeners! There is a multitude of ways to do this and the scoreboard will help us keep track of how many points everyone has!

Listeners can earn points by doing the following during the live show:
1 Point (per show) for visiting DJ Dazz in Live Chat!
1 Point (per show) for making your requests (max 3)!
3 Points (per show) for winning the Scavenger Hunt!
3 Points (per show) for answering the trivia question correctly!

KJSR.net & myself are proud to announce The Marvelous Mix as hosted by DJ Dazz. The new show will air on Fridays from 11pm EST - 1am EST starting Friday, April 2nd, 2010! I just recently finished hosting The Countdown for KJSR.net, which played the Top 20 Most Requested Songs of the week as voted by the radio station listeners.
